We were also joined by Eran’s dad on the line from Melbourne where he described how proud he is of his son, especially in light of the fact that his mother passed away tragically last year. Linda described in vivid detail the horror of fighting off a three metre white pointer shark which went for her off Wategoes Beach at Byron Bay. Linda, a mother of two small children, was paddling on her surf ski with her husband when the shark went for her. Amazingly she beat it off with her paddle and sustained only a minor bite to her arm.
